[GELÖST] Front-end editing of articles wurde erstellt von gradjeroz
I am the admin for several websites locally here. My customer reported that he could not edit his articles in the front-end. When I verified this report and logged on the website as administrator, editing of the articles was allowed. Wenn I logged in as another user with publishing rights, after doing an edit, the article could not be saved. After googling I found a report stating that this problem is related to the Asteroid Frame work. I am using J4, with Framework Version: 2.5.20 and

That is a good question.
I just verified. The template for the article was changed to Cassiopeia. A test user with publishing rights was logged in. But the result was the same. With the test user, the edit was entered but could not be saved. Log off the test user and log on with the administrator account the article was edited and saved.
So it seems the issue is related to Joomla. Any more suggestions?

For now, I have solved my problem by giving the user Superadministrator Rights, which allows him to complete the editing of his posts. Will wait till a solution comes up

Again, thanks for the constructive questions. See attached the permissions. My user was assigned a publisher. When my user logged in with SU rights, the edit was completed. Else there was a long wait till it finished. As mentioned before, the same observation occurred after assigning the Cassiopeia Template to the page that needed to be edited on the front end.
My current solution is to assign administrator rights to the user and ask him to stay out of the backend login.
